The Waiblingen-based manufacturer of light electric transporters, TYN-e, has opened a flagship store in Barcelona and sees great potential in markets like Spain. On the occasion of the opening, the manufacturer, which has its LEVs produced on order in cooperation with Shandong Horche in China, presented its product range and announced a cooperation with the Swiss specialist in lightweight mobility, Microlino. Managing Director Markus Graf not only looked back at the challenging path to mass production at the opening but also presented ambitious plans.
"The decision to bring small electric transporters to market may seem unusual. However, we are convinced that these very vehicles will shape the future of urban mobility," explained Graf.
Specifically in the Spanish market, there is great potential for its models; the willingness to change is present here, according to the provider. The CEO praised the collaboration with the Chinese partner Shandong Horche, who is now also a co-shareholder, and emphasized how important this connection is for the speed and quality of production.
Furthermore, he provided an outlook on the future model range. In addition to the new TYN-e L7e, which is expected to be particularly attractive in terms of price, Graf talked about planned facelifts for the existing models TX1, TX2, and TX7, which are set to launch in 2026. The announcement of the cooperation with the Swiss company Microlino AG also attracted attention.
"Our engineers from Germany, Switzerland, Italy, and China are working hand-in-hand to develop a new Microlino model that will be distributed worldwide," Graf announced, emphasizing the importance of synergies between the two product families for the mobility of the future.
