With the new "WAMAS Entry-Level Solutions," SSI Schäfer is specifically targeting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as projects with a medium level of complexity. The software portfolio offers a standardized, quickly implementable way to digitize and automate warehouse processes – with high scalability.

“With the WAMAS Entry-Level Solutions, we enable small and medium-sized enterprises to access the digital and automated logistics world in a cost-efficient manner. Our goal is to provide a simple and quick access to state-of-the-art warehouse software, which can also grow with the future demands of our customers. This way, companies benefit from a solution that actively supports their growth and offers investment security to ensure the long-term competitiveness of our customers,” says Florian Schneebauer, Vice President Product Line Software at SSI Schäfer.

This positions the intralogistics specialist as a partner for companies that want to make the step into the digital warehouse world efficient and future-proof. The core of the new offering consists of three field-tested software modules:

  • “WAMAS Core WMS” is an entry-level solution for digital warehouse management, primarily targeting manual warehouses with low complexity and aims to score with short implementation times.
  • “WAMAS High Bay MFS” controls automated high bay warehouses and can be combined with SSI Schäfer's own automation technology.
  • “WAMAS Picking Execution System” was developed specifically for complex, automated, or hybrid picking processes – for example, in the healthcare and cosmetics sector.

All solutions are modular and grow with the requirements of the companies. In addition to simple integration, SSI Schäfer places value on short project lead times and a high degree of investment security.

Modular FastBots Solution

SSI Schäfer presented the also scalable "FastBots Solution" this year at LogiMAT 2025 in Stuttgart. The modular system is intended to replace traditional conveyor technology and take over central warehouse processes such as storage, buffering, picking, and sorting. With a system performance of up to 10,000 dual cycles per hour and a flexible connection to various storage, picking, and sorting solutions, "FastBots" positions itself as an automation technology with a special focus on gentle item handling.
