DHL 2-Man-Handling relies on e-vans from Nextmove for emission-free delivery. For the growing electric fleet in the last mile segment, the company has rented fully electric vans. Beate Seeher, Managing Director of DHL 2-Man-Handling GmbH and responsible for sustainability:
"We focus on sustainability, not only in our buildings and operational processes. By using e-vehicles for last mile delivery, we are taking an important step. We can now increasingly deliver large and bulky goods, such as furniture, washing machines, or TVs, to the end customer with reduced emissions. This is very much in line with consumer interests."
Each e-vehicle saves around 20.4 tons of CO2 emissions and 6,400 liters of diesel per year compared to a combustion engine in its category. Nextmove Managing Director Stefan Moeller:
“Our vehicles are used daily by craft businesses, delivery services, municipalities, and large logistics providers – as 3.5 or 4-tonners, with long box bodies or classic vans – and, if desired, also as a special solution with cooling or ramps for passengers with reduced mobility. If you want to test electromobility in practice or build a fleet, you are in the right place with us.”
Nextmove rents over 200 electric commercial vehicles, from vans to high-roof box trucks with tail lifts.
