The Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS will present AI-supported software solutions at LogiMAT 2025 (March 11-13, Stuttgart) that help companies use resources more efficiently and make warehouse processes more sustainable.
The IIS offers software solutions for various application areas:
- Resource management and personnel planning: A mathematically optimized planning software enables even workload distribution and on-time order processing.
- Inventory management: An AI-supported solution for automated order suggestions helps to avoid overstocking and shortages.
- Data-Centric AI: A new technology enhances data quality and quantity, thereby providing a better basis for decision-making.
- Process AI: AI-supported process analysis
In dynamic production and intralogistics processes, it is essential to quickly detect deviations and use resources efficiently. With "Process AI (PAI)," Fraunhofer IIS combines Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning (ML), and Deep Learning (DL) with Process Mining. This allows companies to analyze and optimize their processes.
Another highlight of the trade fair is the sustainability benchmarking by Fraunhofer IIS. The working group "Sustainability in the Warehouse" is developing a standardized evaluation system together with industry partners, which helps companies make their warehouse processes more sustainable.
Expert Forum on AI in the Supply Chain
Additionally, Fraunhofer IIS is hosting the Expert Forum "Smart and Efficient Supply Chain Processes with AI" on Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM in the LogiMAT Arena (Atrium Entrance East). Moderated by Dr. Paulina Prantl, Head of the "Analytics" Department in the Supply Chain Services sector, experts will present specific practical applications of AI solutions.
