The police checked trucks on the A24 motorway between the Walsleben and Herzsprung junctions (Ostprignitz-Ruppin district) and found many violations. During the inspection on Monday morning, a total of 15 trucks did not keep the minimum distance of 50 m, and two overtook despite the ban, as the Northern Police Department announced on Tuesday.

Trailers with Brake Deficiencies

According to the police, seven drivers did not adhere to driving and rest periods. An expert found significant brake deficiencies in three trailers. During the inspection, the maximum speed limit at the site was 40 km/h, according to the information provided. A total of 148 people drove past the inspection site too quickly, according to the police.
