With two practical vehicle solutions, Langendorf presented itself at this year's Bauma in Munich. As the company reports, the manufacturer of special vehicles already experienced a strong visitor turnout on the first day of the trade fair. In particular, the two exhibited vehicles – a low-loader trailer and an insulated semi-tipper trailer – reportedly attracted great interest.
At the center of interest, according to Langendorf, were the low-loader trailer TÜ 30 smart and the tipping semi-trailer SKS-HS ISOXX. Both vehicles are typical all-rounders for construction site operations, combining modern technology with high efficiency.
TÜ 30 smart: flexible and robust
With the low-loader trailer TÜ 30 smart, Langendorf presented a versatile transport solution for heavy construction machinery. The model exhibited at Bauma is designed with three axles and has a self-weight of 7.9 tons with a permissible total weight of 30 tons. The total length, including the drawbar, amounts to 10,760 millimeters.
Langendorf placed special emphasis on flexibility in use with this model. Automatically extendable ramps with a width of 700 millimeters and lateral adjustability enable the safe transport of a wide variety of machines such as excavators, rollers, or graders. A telescopic load bed extension further expands the range of applications.
For load securing, the TÜ 30 smart is equipped with an extensive package of lashing rings, folding lashing rings, and stake pockets. The floor is made of 40 millimeter thick hardwood as standard. Alternatively, rubber-metal bearings can be installed in the tracks and on the ramps. Langendorf offers the loading ramps in mechanical or hydraulic versions, each available in steel or aluminum. Additionally, there is a choice between mechanical suspension and air suspension. The drawbar can also be delivered matched to the towing vehicle.
A surrounding LED lighting and extendable warning signs with marker lights complete the equipment. For heavier machines up to 30.5 tons, Langendorf also offers the four-axle low-loader trailer TÜ 40 smart.
SKS-HS ISOXX: Insulated Tipping Semi-Trailer for Versatile Applications
The second crowd puller at the booth was the SKS-HS ISOXX tipping semi-trailer. The insulated body of the vehicle meets the requirements of DIN 70001 and offers loading volumes of up to 24.3 cubic meters, suitable for light bulk material as well as heavy demolition or hot asphalt. With an empty weight of 6,380 kilograms, there remains sufficient capacity for payload.
The materials used are designed for durability and resilience. The front wall and sides are made of four-millimeter thick fine-grained steel of the Hardox HB 450 type in the interior, and the floor is five millimeters thick. A 50-millimeter thick insulation between the inner and outer sheets provides the necessary thermal insulation.
With an emphasis on practicality, Langendorf highlights the axle lift on the first axle of the three-axle trailer. The system lifts the axle centrally with a cable, offering high ground clearance and aims to minimize tire wear during empty runs. Another feature of the exhibited model is the Cramaro sliding roof, which weatherproofs the tipper.
As standard, the Langendorf tipping semi-trailers include a combination press for high and low pressure and a central control station on the chassis – both features are also found in the SKS-HS ISOXX.
