Finding, integrating, and retaining employees – this is also a focus at the transport logistic 2025 trade fair, which opens its doors from June 2 to 5 in Munich. The exhibitors as potential employers and a conference program with experts from research and practice make the international trade fair for logistics, mobility, IT, and supply chain management a hub for HR and leadership topics, according to Messe München.
“The trade fair is all about the future of logistics,” said Dr. Robert Schönberger, Global Industry Lead of transport logistic. “And because it is inconceivable without people, the trade fair is increasingly also about a future in logistics. This is reflected in the numerous personnel topics in the conference program and special areas.”
On Trade Fair Thursday (June 5), the Campus Plaza in the center of Hall A3 (Stand A3.323/424) connects exhibitors and visitors on the topic “Employer in the Spotlight.” In 30-minute presentations, insights into personnel management and development are given. Speakers will talk about employer branding, new work and modern work environments, employee retention and development, and sustainability as an employer topic. According to Messe München, the Campus Plaza thus becomes a networking platform for employers, a job platform for potential junior, specialist, and management staff, and a stage for the logistics working world for one day.
Personnel topics also play a significant role in the congress program of transport logistic, for example:
- “Resilience in Personnel Management (Forum Hall B1, June 5, 10:00 am): The German Logistics Association (BVL) e. V. discusses mental health and resilience under increasing pressure and dynamics.
- “Fully Automated Traffic” (Hall B1.232, June 4, 10:00 am) and other forums on the trade fair topics of digitalization and sustainability raise awareness of where humans remain irreplaceable and what they need.
- “Professional Drivers - Immigration - Make it Simple!” (Forum Hall A2, June 2, 2:30 pm): Accelerate and simplify skilled worker immigration. The Chamber of Industry and Commerce for Munich and Upper Bavaria presents reforms.
- “Motivation for Drivers” (Forum Hall A3, June 4, 3:00 pm): The Augsburg University of Applied Sciences shows, based on research findings, what drivers appreciate and what can make the job more attractive.
- On June 5, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, the topics “Employer Branding” (Economic Makers, Forum Hall A2) and “Developments in the World of Work, Focus on Women” (LogWork Pink, Forum Hall A1) are on the program.
“Transport logistic not only offers innovative technologies and processes – logistics as a field of work puts people at the center,” says Schönberger. “In this context, transport logistic is developing into a career platform. On one hand, the share of educational providers is growing. On the other hand, the exhibitors present themselves as employers. This appeals to newcomers, as well as professionals and executives who are interested in the logistics profession.”
