The bauma 2025, which took place from April 7 to 13 at the Munich exhibition grounds, attracted around 600,000 visitors from more than 200 countries as well as 3,601 exhibitors from 57 nations. This was announced by the bauma organizer Messe München at the conclusion of the performance show. In 2022, the bauma registered around 495,000 visitors and 3,227 exhibitors.

The exhibitors presented their exhibits, innovations, and trends at bauma 2025 in the halls and on the open-air grounds covering 614,000 square meters — equivalent to about 86 football fields. Stefan Rummel, Managing Director of Messe München, took stock: “We were hosts to around 600,000 visitors from more than 200 countries and regions. The bauma is the heartbeat of the industry and has once again demonstrated how crucial personal encounters and exchanges are for progress and global trade. A strong signal of confidence for the entire industry is emanating from the exhibition grounds in Munich.”

Holger Schulz, Managing Director at Zeppelin (CAT), emphasized the importance of bauma as a leading trade fair and innovation platform: "At bauma, the who's who of the German, European, and international construction and extraction industry meet. Once again, it has proven its character as a leading trade fair and has established itself as the heartbeat of the industry. The seven days of the trade fair mean pure adrenaline for us. Bauma is the best sales platform in the world for us. Sustainability – the sustainable operation of construction machinery and construction sites with the latest drive systems and energy storage solutions – remains a very big issue. In addition, there is the entire area of the connected construction site or connected construction machinery.”

Wolfgang Sochor, CEO of Hawe Hydraulik, made it clear: "bauma 2025 has impressively shown that trends like CO₂ reduction and alternative drives have become established in the industry." Steffen Günther, member of the board of Liebherr-International AG, said: "At bauma, we have presented some significant future topics such as drive technology or autonomy. For us, bauma is far more than an exhibition – it is the platform where the future of the industry becomes tangible."

The next bauma, a trade fair for construction machinery, building material machines, mining machines, construction vehicles, and construction equipment, will take place from April 3 to 9, 2028 at the trade fair grounds in Munich.
