With "HERE WeGo Pro," Here Technologies, a software provider for location-based data and technology, introduces a mobile app for truck navigation. According to company information, it is tailored to the growing demand for customizable map solutions for a safe and efficient driving experience.
HERE WeGo Pro is intended to offer operators of commercial vehicle fleets optimized routing for routes with multiple stops, taking street restrictions and real-time traffic conditions into account. According to Here, HERE WeGo Pro is also meant to fill a gap for manufacturers who offer commercial vehicles without integrated navigation systems.
From CEP providers to 3PL service providers
The app is tailored to fleet operators who rely on precise navigation and efficiency in middle mile and so-called "milk-run" logistics, it says. This includes courier, express, and parcel services (CEP), operators of medium-sized commercial vehicle fleets, third-party logistics providers (3PL), as well as providers of construction and heavy machinery logistics.
