In the construction industry, agriculture, and transportation, large amounts of stubborn dirt often need to be removed. With the hot water high-pressure cleaner "HDS 18/18-4 S Classic," Kärcher addresses this need: The mobile device is very robust and offers a high flushing capacity of 1,800 liters per hour to quickly transport away the dirt dissolved with hot water and up to 180 bar pressure. Thanks to the servo-control regulator, the cleaning performance can be adjusted directly at the gun while working. Additionally, the HDS 18/18-4 S Classic features a flame monitoring function, which is typically only available in stationary devices.
Steel tube frame and durable crankshaft pump
In rough, dirt-intensive environments, robust construction and good cleaning performance of the equipment used are equally important. The HDS 18/18-4 S Classic features a steel tube frame, a durable crankshaft pump, and Kärcher's burner technology. In addition, crane hooks and wheels ensure that the mobile device can be easily transported from A to B. The full flushing capacity of 1,800 liters per hour can be used with one lance. Alternatively, it can also be used with two lances, each providing 900 liters per hour of flushing capacity.
To enable the new hot water high-pressure cleaner to be used as a stationary device, it is equipped with a flame monitoring system required for safe, unattended operation. If the burner's flame does not ignite, the fuel supply is automatically stopped, preventing unnecessary fuel from flowing into the device or spilling onto the floor.
Easy-Force high-pressure gun facilitates work
The Easy-Force high-pressure gun is designed for ergonomic work, utilizing the recoil force of the high-pressure jet to reduce the holding force required by the user to almost zero. The Servo-Control function, which allows the water quantity and pressure to be regulated with a controller on the gun, also makes work more pleasant, for example, when cleaning parts near sensitive electronics after washing the heavily soiled shovel of a wheel loader.
