A damage amount likely in the six-figure range occurred in a truck accident in the Märkisch-Oderland district. The truck was traveling on federal highway 167 in the morning when it veered off the road between Friedersdorf (Vierlinden) and the Dolgelin junction, as the police reported.
According to this, he drove into the roadside ditch and overturned - however, the trailer remained upright. The diesel fuel with which the truck was loaded was therefore not damaged. Nevertheless, the police spoke of a six-figure amount in property damage.
Currently, it is possible to pass by the truck, it was further stated. However, the recovery work is still pending, which is why a closure is likely to occur later in the day.
The driver remained uninjured in the incident. Why exactly the truck left the road is still unclear.
